We have difficulty reaching out and sharing how to help us. In response, we designed customizable crisis cards to describe out different types of medical issues with descriptions of what it is and how to help. They are very appreciated by friends, loved ones, and even EMS when someone is having a non-epileptic seizure. They could know exactly what’s going on and how to help. We make them using dye sublimation on metal cards so they are durable, long-lasting, and easy to clean. They also have a good tactility and feel in the hand. The colors are vibrant and can be colored differently for different types of medical issues. They are completely customizable to the user.

Two identical metal cards that on one side has a red cross with the word "Seizure", once in the center and two on each side. On the other side, there is the word "Seizure" on the top, then a description of the type of seizure, and then instructions on how to help.

The third version. It wasn't legible enough. Not gonna work.

The second version. It was a lot nicer than the first. However, it has some legibility issues and is pretty time consuming to print. With that, with the wood being absorbent, any messier health issues will be impossible to clean out.

One point five I suppose. The text on the side makes it easier to scan through and get the right card. Wish that could work in the final version but the extra bulk was impractical.

Version one. It was as simple as it gets. But when we tried it out it worked amazingly. The difference in how people assisted us during crisis was so drastically better we had to go onward with the idea.

A wooden card that has four sections. The first is the name and description of a medical episode. The second is warning signs. The third is potential dangers. The last is how to help.
