When touring the fabrication shop, we saw a tool way in the
back. Staff said no one had used the Vacuformer in a long
time, which made me immediately want to try it. It turned
out to be perfect for a piece about progressive change
because of its degradation between molds.

An aluminum heatsink that has plastic formed tightly around it. Between each layer there is less and less accuracy to the original, causing loose corners and air pockets trapped inside.
