Work In Progress Images

A drawing of an owl face we did before making the mural. It was our spot by the pier we would sit at and watch the waves roll in. It used to just be the owl drawing but after disappearing for a long time from the pier while in the hospital we made a note saying we're still alive.

A pink owl drawing on a concrete lamp post base. Around the owl is a star, a tag, the words "Still Alive", a semicolon, and the number 741-741 (The number for Crisis Text Line)

The initial lineart. We had so much fun doing it. Though, we had to keep coming back frequently to repaint it after. After seeing a lot of individuals interested in it as they visit the pier, we decided to give it a full color coat with a more resilient spray paint.

We didn't know how to get an overhead shot without a drone, but there was a radio satellite on an elevated post that had a standing section. We tried making climbing hooks, and they did work, but we stopped before we hurt ourselves. Instead we chose to use image stitching to get an overhead shot.

We missed the owl mural when we moved away so we made a wooden edition.
